  • 4 eggs
  • 6 lg oil
  • 5 lg fat yogurt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • the cane
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • orange peel
  • 1 baking powder
  • seedless fresh cherries
  • a pinch of salt
  • powdered sugar

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes


Mix eggs well with sugar, vanilla sugar and salt powder. Add the oil, continue mixing and after the oil is well incorporated, add the yogurt and then the orange peel. At the end, add flour mixed with baking powder. Mix until smooth and then pour the composition into a tray well greased with oil. Place the cherries on top and put in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes (the toothpick test is done).

Leave it to cool (ideally it would be until the next day and keep it in the fridge) after which it is powdered with sugar, portioned and served. It is wonderful especially cold from the fridge.
